Stark Cattle Co. - Carthage, Mo will be offering 26 Bred Red Angus Heifers at the Jan 30th Cow Special. The heifers home raised, born and bred on the farm. The heifers are due to calve Valentines Day and will be 2 years old. We always aim for February and March calves, our bulls are low birth weight, easy calving with vigorous offsprings. We work our cattle by-yearly. Our program includes: Blackleg – Pinkeye -Bovishield Gold 5 – Vitamin B 12 – Wormer and Pour On. They always have access to mineral and protein tubs when needed. Some of the bloodlines are: Beckton Nebula, Cayon, New Direction, Firestorm and Redemption. Heifers are presently weighing 1000 to 1100 pounds. We enjoy raising easy handling and quality cattle. Woodward Farms: 20 – fancy black & black baldy heifers weighing roughly 1100, purchased from Tom Kissee Ranch, purchased due to the drought in September 2023. Synchronized and pelvic measured, AI bred to Sitz Domain and cleaned up with Moriondo bulls, start calving March 1. Complete vaccine program, Tammy Wallace with Genex did all the breeding. 65 – 3-year-old Angus cows, all half sisters. Big, fancy and gentle, developed on fescue, bred to Bo Davis Angus bulls, start calving in February.  FMI Bo Davis 417-880-6863.

30 – head of primarily black first calf heifers due to calve and turn 2 years of age the end of February. They are bred to Longhorn bulls. They were vaccinated with scour boss 9 in December. I kept these heifers for myself but am now having to downsize due to unforeseen circumstances. Heifers all have calm demeanor and can be handled easily with a bucket of feed. 40 – Black & black/white face heifers, bred to Worthington Angus bulls, weighing 1000 plus. On a complete vaccination program, start calving last of February. FMI Jackie Moore 417-825-0948.

50  – Black, black/white face and Red white face, SS to BM cows, half will be pairs and balance heavy springers, springers bred to black or Red Angus bulls. FMI Cotton Reed 417-342-5373.

100 – Home-raised, Charolais and Charolais cross cows, 3-year-olds to short and solid with 60 pairs included, calves are from baby to 350 pounds. Balance are springers that are bred to really good Red Angus bulls. Complete dispersal due to health reasons, all cows are gentle and have good deposition. FMI Jr Smith 870-373-1150.
